Passion 4 Life: Feeling healthier and feeling wealthier

So, today is exactly one week since we became distributors for Passion 4 Life Vitamins. Keeping in mind that Marshall and I have not received our business cards yet, or formulated a business/marketing plan, we’ve already started on our way.

 

In the past week we have:

  • Signed up 2 distributors under us. That’s $50.00 for each consultant that we signed up. So, remember that $100.00 product kit that was part of signing up to be a consultant? We just got that money back.
  • We’re now earning $10 commission of that first level consultant because they’ve bought the $100 monthly auto-ship.
  • We’ve sold 8 bottles of Passion 4 Life Vitamins. 40% of $39.99 = $16 X 8 =  $128.00

 

So, in one week without much effort, we’ve earned $238.00.

 

The two people that I’ve signed up, were actually pretty easy. One was my co-worker who sat in the cubicle behind me and made the comment that my mood was very perky and happy. The other day, she complained that she was tired and burnt out…….and asked how to get some of “those vitamins”. After showing her the benefits of buying into the system (ie: a family of two adults and one child costs $100 per month, why not just buy the sign up kit?), she signed right up. My other signee is a client who suffers from thyroid problems and stresses out easily. She was another person that commented on how upbeat I’ve been for the last few weeks.

 

One of the reasons that I’m so excited about those two signees is that Passion 4 Life just upped the ante. If you sign up 3 people by the end of July 2008, they’ll give you 500 shares of Passion 4 Life for FREE! If you sign up 5 people by the end of July, they’ll give you 2,000 shares!

 

Let’s do the math. In September 2007, Avon stock was selling at $32.00 per share. As of today, it’s been hovering just shy of $36.00 per share. That’s up $4.00. $4.00 X 500 shares for signing up 3 people =  a $2,000 increase. Signing up 5 people is 2000 shares X $4.00 = an $8,000 increase. That’s the difference between being wealthy and just having income.

 

There are a couple of reasons why signing up these two people as consultants was easier than I thought it would be. A) They both know that I’m a skeptic. I don’t sell Avon, Arbonne, Amway, etc. They both know that I don’t believe that taking a pill for 30 days and doing nothing else will cause you to lose 30lbs in 30 days. So, when I started talking about how good I thought the product was, they listened. B) They could see and hear the difference in how I was through my day to day life. I offered them the possibility of having those changes in their lives too.

 

 

 

So, here are the possibilities for July 2008. If you sign up 6 people by the end of July 2008:

 

  • 6 people X $50 sign up bonus = $300.00
  • The commission on Level 3 is $70.00 per month
  • The Money Match for 6 people would be approximately  $80.00 (this would fluctuate based on where they end up in your down-line structure and how many people those underneath you signed up. This is based simply on 7 cumulative members.)
  • You’d get 2,000 free shares of stock in the company. You’d be more than a consultant, you’d have ownership in the company.

Life, vitamins and weightloss

My name is Bobbi. I’m a 42 year old woman that has been diagnosed with PCOS. One of the primary symptoms of PCOS is insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is simultaneously like Diabetes and completely the opposite of Diabetes. Your body produces tons of insulin, but your body doesn’t know how to use it. It means that your cells starve and everything you eat gets converted directly into fats. Because your body is starving, you crave carbohydrates for energy, but they’re poison to your body because they elevate blood sugar and insulin levels.  They just perpetuate the cycle. Insulin resistance causes weight gain, so I went from a size 8 to a size 14 in short period of time.

Starving cells are tired cells. When a cold goes around, it’s guaranteed that I’ll get it and get it worse than everyone else. My cells don’t have the energy to fight it.  I wake up in the morning tired and have to talk myself out of bed. I get up a little after 7am, to leave for work at 8am. By the time I leave work, I’m exhausted. I crawl into bed somewhere between 9pm and 10pm. Then to make matters worse, I’ve spent months suffering from insomnia. I toss and turn all night, and wake up around 3 am to lay awake for an hour or more. When I wake up in the morning, I’ve tossed and turned so much that I’ve stripped the fitted sheet off of the mattress.  I’ve spent months taking two Tylenol PMs every night before bed in the hopes that I’d get a good night’s sleep and wake up refreshed. I get better sleep, but still wake up exhausted.  If we have to be somewhere early in the morning, Marshall has to bribe me with Starbucks before I’ll even be coherent.

Three weeks ago my husband met Marilyn, daughter of Charles, the creator of Passion 4 Life. She talked him into trying a bottle. When we found out that we could be a part of selling this product, we were very excited. We figured this was a great way to be able to have a fantastic vacation every year. What we actually found was much more than that.

To sign up as a “Consultant” is $100. For that $100, you get the 1 ounce shot glass, two  32 ounces bottles and eight 1 ounces bottles for traveling or samples. In your sign up packet you would also get flyers, sign up sheets and a promotional DVD. You would then buy the product package automatically each month for $100.00. Which is the same amount if you bought the product outright each month. (For a family of two, doing 1 ounce per day, that is a one month supply.)

The program is actually pretty unique in that it’s pretty easy to get that monthly order to pay for itself. If you sign up two people under you to receive that automatic monthly shipment, you’re already getting money back.
Here’s how they pay:
-40% commission on any single bottle you sell ($39.99 per bottle @ 40% = $16.00 per bottle)
 
 

 

 

-$50 for each person that you personally sign up for that automatic monthly shipment. (Sign up two people right away and you’ve already covered your first month.)
Here’s where the sign ups under you start working for you. You sign up two people for the monthly automatic order of $100 and label them teams A and B. Those are your two “streams” of sales. You want them to be as equal as possible because you earn commission on the weaker team. So, if you signed up two people and they each had two people under them, you would earn:
-10% of the weaker stream, so 10% of 3 people at $100 per month = $30.
-Commission “money match” from the people you directly signed up, so 10% of 1 person at $100 per month = $10 per direct sign up X 2 = $20.00
-You don’t earn any commission on individual bottle sales that were sold by the people under you.

So, it’s actually really easy to get some of the costs of your vitamins back. Without really doing much at all, you’re now getting back half of what you pay for your vitamins.

Because we can only have two people directly underneath us, if we sign up more than two people to be under us, they would end up under our existing team members. So, you’d eventually end up with more than just two under you.  When you sign up anybody, regardless of where they end up in the team tree you earn the $50 sign up bonus and you get the commission “Money Match” on that person.

I’ll be honest that at first I was a little put off with the program, but then I realized that it wasn’t really signing up people to be sales people, it’s signing up people to receive a monthly automatic shipment of their vitamins and talk about those vitamins because they really work.

 
As of June 21st, 2008, they’ve only been selling this way for three weeks. So, you’re very early into the program. Which means you’re quite high up in the team. There were people at that meeting that signed on at the initial meeting three weeks ago that were going to be receiving checks for $630 in base commission and $620 in “Money Match” commission. $1250 a month income  in less than three weeks. I was quite impressed. I sat there thinking that even if they did nothing else to get people involved, they were now making at least an extra $15,000 per year.  What would you do with an extra $15,000 per year?
 
 

 

One of the other things that this company does is a “trickle down” stock program. Disney and Coca-Cola have similar programs. You can put as little as $50 into the pool and you end up owning stock in the company. The program is run by someone outside of the company to prevent a conflict of interest.  Think about if you owned stock in Avon when it first started up. Where would you be now?

  • $50 bonus for every person that you directly sign up

  • 10% of the $100 packages sold by your weakest team

  • A “Money Match” of the commission earned by every person you’ve directly signed up

  • The option to buy stock and have ownership in the company
